This Privacy Policy explains how BeautiedByBre ("BeautiedByBre," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit beautiedbybre.com, book beauty services, purchase a membership, create an account, join the BeautiedByBre Stylist Collective, use the Community or Stylist Lounge, or contact us.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

• Contact and account information: your name, email address, phone number, profile name, handle, profile photo, cover photo, and sign-in information supplied by the account provider.
• Booking and service information: requested services, appointment date and time, hair or service questionnaire responses, notes, booking status, and appointment history.
• Payment and membership information: purchase amount, payment status, receipt information, transaction identifiers, membership type, and membership access period. Complete card numbers are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by BeautiedByBre.
• Content you provide: reviews, ratings, comments, likes, questions, loc-progress or appointment photos and videos, and Stylist Lounge posts or replies.
• Technical information: browser and device information, IP address, timestamps, security logs, and information collected through cookies or similar technologies needed to operate and protect the website.
• Support information: messages and other details you provide when asking about an appointment, account, membership, or charge.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• create and manage accounts, profiles, bookings, payments, receipts, and memberships;
• match clients with relevant services and maintain appointment records;
• operate reviews, the public Community, and the members-only Stylist Lounge;
• respond to questions, prevent fraud, protect users, and resolve payment disputes;
• maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the website; and
• comply with legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. When information is shared

We may share information only as reasonably needed with:

• Service providers that support website hosting, account authentication, file storage, email, analytics, customer support, and security.
• Payment and booking providers, including providers such as Stripe and Square, to process transactions, maintain receipts, prevent fraud, and manage appointments. Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Afterpay may also receive information when you choose those services.
• Your selected stylist when information is needed to provide a direct booking or service. Independent stylists do not receive another stylist's private client records or payouts.
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or connected to a business reorganization or transfer.

We do not sell or rent personal information for money.

5. Public and private areas

Community posts, reviews, photos, videos, likes, comments, profile names, handles, and profile photos may be visible to website visitors. Your email address and private account details are not displayed with public posts. The Stylist Lounge is limited to authorized administrators and stylists with active access, but you should still avoid posting sensitive information that is not needed for the conversation.

6. Cookies and local storage

We and our providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary for sign-in, checkout, security, preferences, and core website functions. Your browser controls may let you delete or block these technologies, but parts of the website may not work correctly afterward.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including providing services, maintaining transaction and appointment records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information. Public content may remain visible until you delete it, request deletion, or we remove it under our rules.

You may update certain profile information or delete your own eligible posts and comments through your account. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to identity verification and information we must retain for legal, safety, accounting, or dispute purposes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, account, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Keep your sign-in credentials private and contact us if you believe your account has been misused.

The website and account features are not directed to children under 13. A parent or legal guardian may book an appointment for a minor and must provide and manage the minor's information. If you believe a child submitted personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us.
